The vast majority of my students have been learning from home for more than a year as a result of the COVID pandemic. When they come back in-person in the fall, I want to give them opportunities to explore our curriculum that give them a break from staring at their screens and allow them to be present in our physical space. We begin ninth grade with a study of Ancient Greek mythology, and next year I would like to give my students the chance to create their own small pieces of pottery retelling these classic tales. Students will analyze Greek pottery as an example of visual storytelling and then try their hands at creating some of their own!
