My classroom is made up of unique and amazing students with varied needs and abilities. That may sound like your average classroom and you would be right but the thing that makes my classroom different, is that my students are struggling with disabilities that make it that much more difficult to learn. To ensure that my student's get everything they deserve to help them learn, we are asking for: a varied curriculum, headphones, sensory toys and equipment, preferred seating. The students would benefit greatly from curriculum that is varied and is differentiated to meet their specific needs. The students also have difficulty managing their sensory needs and would benefit from a sensory area and preferred seating. My students have the potential to do so much more and to express themselves in a way that allows them to be understood and feel successful. Please help make that happen.
