According to the Environmental Protection Agency website: More than 1/2 of schools in the U.S. have problems linked to indoor air quality, and that due to their prolonged exposure in these environments, this indoor air can play a role in both students' health and overall performance. Many of my students have asthma, allergies or other health conditions that are dependent on air quality. In addition to chronic health conditions, my office houses children all throughout the day with various acute illnesses. In a room with little ventilation this creates the perfect storm for transmission of illness. With the air purifier and sanitizing wipes I hope to lessen the spread of illness and allow children with chronic health conditions to breathe easier.
