My students bring a beautiful range of learning needs and strengths, so I design instruction that is flexible, hands-on, and deeply engaging. They learn best through exploration and creation—by using their hands to build understanding. My goal is to strengthen reading comprehension and vocabulary through dynamic literacy stations where students practice letter sounds, sight words, writing, and engage with our book of the week.
These activities open doors for every learner—English Learners gain meaningful language practice, and students with special needs can fully participate through creative, tactile learning. With the donated materials, I can create purposeful centers such as an author’s corner, a book-of-the-week area, word work, and science exploration. Each space will be stocked with tools that empower students to work independently while I teach small guided reading groups.
