My students are excited about Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House series! They enjoy reading all about Jack and Annie's adventures and always look forward to starting a new book. However, having a limited supply of books does not allow my students to each have their own individual book to read and study for small groups and independent reading. I feel that if each child had their own book, it would allow them to become more actively engaged in their learning. This series also contains great historical stories that tie in with our state social studies standards. I would love my students to get to learn all about our state's history in a fun and exciting way!

About my class
