Our students engage in several projects at a time. For each project they will sketch their observations, create models, and develop explanations for natural phenomena experienced in and out of class. This project involves following the embryonic development of eggs that will be incubated in the classroom. Students will observe, sketch and track development using various data collection methods. We need the egg scope to track the embryonic development of eggs incubated in the classroom, scissors, colored pencils and pencil sharpener for sketching observations. These materials will be used in a series of long and short term hands-on activities and labs. Students will gain an appreciation for science and technology, and will learn analytical skills that will enhance their academic achievement throughout their education careers.
