Pickleball is a wonderful sport created for all ages regardless of skill level. It is an engaging sport that combines many of the same fundamentals as tennis, badminton and ping-pong. Pickleball has numerous health benefits such as improved mental acuity, stress reduction, and it improves energy levels. Students at West End Elementary will have a wonderful opportunity to develop new skills and apply them in various setting if we acquire this equipment. Adding Pickleball to our Net/Wall Unit activities at WEE will be beneficial to all students and staff. One of my fondest memories of elementary/middle school was playing Pickleball as a West End Elementary student.
