The students assigned to my small group setting class have Individualized Education Plans. Included in these documents are the student's present levels of instruction, strengths, needs, goals, and specially designed instruction. The students ELA and math coursework are aligned to the general education curriculum and grade level standards. Each student will be able to work at his or her own level and pace of instruction, with the computer-based educational programs specifically designed and tailored to reach each student's learning needs. Students will utilize the Get More Math Program which provides practice for concept mastery and retention. Students will also utilize Readworks, Spelling City, Quill.org for grammar and Khan Academy. Students will be able to gain auditory access to books through Bookshare. EZ CBM will be utilized for math, reading fluency and comprehension benchmark tests. We will utilize educational games such as Kahoot and Quizlet. Class Dojo will be used for parent communication and classroom management. Together, you and I have the opportunity to provide my students with the tools they need to be successful in​ school and life. Your consideration would be deeply appreciated!
