My students will be using the Chromebooks in many different ways throughout the school year. Students will frequently utilize them during small group activities as a resource to find information. They will also use them as a tool for collaboration on projects, creating their own group study guides and for interactive exploration. The use of computers on a regular basis will help encourage 21st century skills and help students to be better equipped to engage with higher learning while increasing the amount of collaboration in the classroom. With our school admittance increase this year, the computers that are available to my students are frequently in use making it difficult to provide them with consistent technology in the classroom. I would like students to see technology as a tool that they can use to enhance their learning. Increasing the amount of technology used to facilitate learning will help students take ownership of their own learning and help them feel confident to take on higher education.
