Our charter school students work hard during our long 7 hour school day. 90% are on reduced lunch, and can barely afford money for an extra binder and dividers, let alone an instrument. Located in inner-city LA, we push them very hard academically so they can succeed - but they need a break! Recently the recipients of the Title 1 Achievement Award for a large amount of students continuing to bridge the gap in academic testing scores, we are getting these kids proficient and capable for the real world!

About my class
