My students are brilliant, highly motivated, energetic, loving and diverse. We have 80% of our students where English is their second language, students with behavior issues and others with challenging home lives. Nearly all students are from low-income households and receive free lunch. The children love to read and use reading to not only learn but to explore the world. Reading is a gateway to knowledge and gives the children the opportunity to take an adventure outside of what they are used to. The students are excited about Art and the projects to come this year.
