During Enrichment, I make it my goal for students to be intrigued by reading. Many times, they are reading literature that does not interest them. Percy Jackson is a current book, which students want to read, watch the movie, and compare. Enrichment class is truly a time for students to interact with the reading, answer discussion questions, work in groups, and formulate ideas. With the purchase of these books, students will be able to follow along to the reading, find textual evidence to answer text-based questions, and effectively create a vivid story map of the ongoing plot in their minds.

About my class
