The students who will be reading these books are ones who are not yet reading at grade level. Nonetheless, they are eager to read and become better readers, one book at a time. Students will have access to more books they are interested in. When a student is able to have choice as to which books they read, they more likely to improve their reading because they are interested in what they are reading. Students will be able to take books home to practice their reading at home. These books will motivate students to work hard to improve their reading, and become lifelong readers. I want my students to feel successful, to know that reading is for everyone. I want to have choices as to which books they want to read and develop a love for reading!
