Reading is an essential part of every classroom. Technology is an ever growing component to allow students resources needed to further their learning. These items will give our children wonderful books to help teach our social studies and science standards in the classroom. The chrome books will allow the kids to research in small groups and make group presentations to share. We need more technology in the classroom to allow the students opportunities to meet the growing state standards required for technology.
Children having tools and resources to learn and making it fun to learn is my ultimate goal in our classroom! Every day we talk about using the resources in our room and binder to help us figure out answers or to help us. I want my kids to remember the fun stuff we did in class and be able to use it for years to come. The resources with this grant will put amazing books into their hands and chrome books that open the door for all subject areas. We will be able to use them for writing, research, projects/presentations, math, science, social studies, reading, phonics, and grammar. We love learning and researching and so appreciate any and all help to get these items in our kids hands!
