My students are Gifted And Talented. This means they require multiple stimuli to keep their focus on the day's tasks. We often rotate about the room, in small groups working on our many tasks of the day. Some students sit in our class library on pillows. Other students sit at the front of the room on our class Native American carpet using small lap trays. Another small group area is at the back of the room with our Colonial Teacher mannequin, A final station the students enjoy working in is in front our colonial fireplace. The wobble chairs will add to our classroom's social emotional welfare by allowing more flexible seating. The students will be more likely to persevere throughout the day, by being able to wiggle while they work. The wobble chairs would be a great addition to our class. They would be used at a back table area near our door. These chairs would help motivate the students to learn, as well as to continue to help their community through our class "Make a Difference" leadership program. The wobble chairs will provide an exciting station for learning!
