These new materials will give my students an eye opening experience to look around the world for art inspiration! We’ll travel in our imaginations to Korea/Japan/China, Oaxaca, Ghana, Mexico, Australia, France and other inspiring places, and discover the many ways that different cultures are represented through art. In order to support this world travel art project for this year I would like to provide as much new media to my students as possible, but since we are a low income school we have little resources to have a wide range of art material. Last school year I took an inspirational technology class from my district. I believe the interactive art show would boost my students' learning experience more meaningful and effective. Not only does art help students express themselves socially, emotionally, and culturally, but also the material I am requesting will take my students to the art inspirational world right here at our elementary school art room.

About my class
