Coming from a school that is the smallest school in the district, with the smallest budget, my students would benefit tremendously from tools that would build literacy skills to be college and career ready. Having hands on learning tools will support differentiated instruction for the various skill levels that I must accommodate in my classroom. I want to be sure that my students build a strong foundation in literacy skills for them to further build on in their educational adventures. Literacy building materials would highly support our Daily Five Literacy Program. Leveled Readers, Sight Word materials and magnetic letters would greatly enhance building reading fluency, accuracy and intonation. The storage and display teaching cart will greatly support visual learners in my classroom. The timer would develop organizational skills.
