Regular cafeteria chairs aren't ideal for singing, and their rigidity often causes students to feel "stuck." Students would use these exercise balls daily as seats to promote better posture, and also to allow them to move more freely as they learn. Flexible seating helps keep students engaged, and exercise balls allow those students with more energy than others to bounce or move without causing a distraction for the rest of the group! Rather than sitting in rigid chairs, students can sit on these and move naturally as we make music together. This flexible seating will also allow for students to move into different groups more easily and encourage correct posture regardless of where in the room they are sitting in that moment.
