These active movement stools will provide much needed movement for my students. My students are highly active and the movement allowed by these stools is a great alternative to the sitting still that can be such a difficult task for kindergarten and first grade students. By allowing my students the freedom to move (while seated), students will be more engaged and willing to sit for longer tasks. Students who are able to use the active movement chairs show increased focus while working. Active seating will let my students move and adjust themselves in a non-disruptive way during small group instruction. My students will also be able to burn off excess energy and get the stimulus their muscles are looking for, making them more attentive to lessons.
