My students make up a diverse socioeconomic population. We have a mix of rural and suburban kids who reside throughout a large area of Central Pennsylvania. My students come from hard-working families whose roots run deep in this area and this town. I love how my students have a passion for hands-on science. I overheard a student say recently, "You can never fall asleep in Mrs. Wilkinson's class because we are constantly moving!" My classroom is about making science engaging and applicable for every student who walks through the door!
