Using an iPad in my classroom will benefit my special education scholars by opening up the world of technology. Students will learn how to use technology to learn and communicate with others. All of my students learn best with visual and auditory aides. Students will have the opportunity to use apps such as Epic to read along with stories. They'll also be able to use programs such as i-ready to bridge their learning gap. The opportunities to enrich their learning is endless! Another great asset of having iPads in our classroom is it will create independence. Students will learn to work in stations of two while the teacher and paras are able to work with other small groups of students to reinforce their learning needs.
