Flexible seating is exactly what it sounds like. It is seating that is flexible. It allows students to make choices about what seats will work best for them. Flexible seating does not mean that students will "roam" around the room all day long. They are still responsible for quality work. Flexible seating does not take away structure from the classroom. It simply allows students to feel comfortable at school and therefore be more open to learning and listening. Flexible seating improves their school lives because it allows them to feel comfortable in a school setting. Whenever students feel comfortable in a school environment, they are going to be more excited and open to learn which will lead to making a huge difference in their learning.
