The students will have a unique opportunity to engage with music. The students will learn how to play ukulele and sing along. There are a couple of local groups in the Eugene and Corvallis area that encourage playing the ukulele and I would reach out to those groups to do an outreach event with them. The ukulele ensemble will provide many performance opportunities for students. One of the highlight performance venues that they will have will be the school carnival which is one of the main fundraisers for the Parent Teacher Committee. This venue will give the music program a way to support the fundraiser.
