My class is full of curious, excited, and vibrant young minds with a thirst for knowledge. These students are eager to learn, but are not always afforded the best learning materials. Our school is a public charter school in a small town with wonderful rural charm. The students do not come from affluent families, but we are fortunate to be part of a tight-knit community and have great school-home connections. We are a title 1 school with most of our children receiving free or reduced lunch. An iPad would provide them with the resources to help fill their thirst for knowledge and expose them to other ways of seeing and experiencing the skills and concepts they are being taught.
