As a teacher I strive to provide an environment where ALL of my students can learn. Flexible seating has made a huge difference in my students learning this year. It allows students choice and empowers them to take charge of their learning. Adding the Wobble Chair, Stability Chair, Doughnut Chair and stools will allow my students to better complete independent work by having the choice to move while in a stationary position. Many of my students have a hard time sitting still and staying in their seats. This often leads to behavior issues and less time being on task. These seating options will provide more of my students the ability to move without getting up out of their seats. Sitting at a desk all day on a hard plastic chair can be boring, non-stimulating and uncomfortable. The flexible seating items listed below will provide my students with more comfortable seating options. This will allow them to stay engaged longer in lesson and group work. Seating choices like this will also help students stay focused and process information because they are comfortable.
