All of the students enrolled in the PLTW program have a desire to have a career in medicine. In order for them to be adequately prepared, they need to be able to visually see and physically touch parts of the skeletal and muscular systems that are normally out of reach for them. A simple drawing or labeled picture is great for memorization, but we want our students to be fully engaged and learn by experience instead of by creating flashcards or memorizing a picture. By contributing to this project, you are helping future medical professionals understand human anatomy and physiology at an earlier age so they can be prepared for what lies ahead in medical school. After all, wouldn't you want your doctor to have more experience before meeting you?
