Through funding this project, students will have access to a large variety of books about a variety of subjects and cultures. Reading is hard for a lot of my students. Many of them do not have access to books at home and a lot of them are not interested in reading. Books are powerful. Through these books, I am hoping my students fall in love with reading. I purposefully picked titles that have characters and figures that students can see themselves in. I believe books can open up a whole new world of possibilities and help teach my kids about things they didn't even know existed!
