A classroom full of fun, engaging literature with strong characters who learn valuable lessons will help students gain life-long skills. Our hope is that our students will connect the lessons learned in these books to their own lives. The goal is that these books will instill in the children the values our school promotes: Respect, Ownership, Curiosity, Kindness, Integrity, Never Giving Up (Perseverance). Since students aren't always read to at home, we want to be able to provide a print-rich classroom! By doing so, students will be able to build their social emotional intelligence that fosters self awareness, self management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
