This library will allow my students to become successful readers and writers in the social studies content area. These are books they will read outside of class building their reading confidence and stamina. These books have been chosen because they provide a mirror and a window for students. Students can see themselves in the characters and the world outside of their town, Facebook feed and snap chat story through these carefully selected titles. Many of my students do not have access to any books at home. This will allow our class to require at least 4 readings outside of class.
