I am requesting reading and math center activities for independent and group work. The activities will be used daily for all students. They will be able to work with place value, time, and graphs during math centers by using the giant base ten block, clock, and graph stamps. They will also work with phonics in English with the phonics stamps. They will use the pocket word games for Spanish phonemic awareness as well as the Spanish alphabet stamps to practice their sight words. The differentiated instruction cubes and dry erase pockets will be used in centers for both subjects. My 21 students need 5 centers during reading and math that will help them review their new skills in a fun and engaging way. Each of my students have different strengths and needs and these activities will help all of them. Worksheets are not fun! We want to be actively learning by using hands-on materials!
