The project will help facilitate learning by differentiating instruction in math. Tactile, Kinesthetic, and Visual learners will be able to use their mode of learning through the magnetic base ten blocks and IPad. Student will work in groups to compose and decompose numbers in math. Addition and Subtraction of three digit numbers is complex for students in 3rd grade and working with magnetic manipulatives will give them a solid foundation to be able to solve basic algorithms. I-pads will help facilitate visual learners by fostering their understanding of regrouping via technology. Students thoroughly enjoy working with technology and this will make it more engaging.
