After having just returned from the MACUL (Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning) conference, I have gained a plethora of ways to support/enhance my students’ learning in the area of STEAM. However, a lot of the lessons require applications only available on iOS devices or require the flexibility that comes with moving around with an iPad. I am hoping with at least 2 iPads, I will be able to showcase to the school board why the students would benefit from iPads in the STEAM classroom, thus, resulting in an approved budget to purchase more iPads (hopefully- fingers crossed!). These iPads will be used for such student lessons as coding, stop-motion animation, green screen videos, and 3-D printing.
