The Warren Prescott is a K-8 School located in Charlestown and is one of the many schools in the Boston Public School System. We have three 6th grade classes in our school, al of which I teach Science. It is very rich in diversity and the students are wonderful. They love to be challenged and really thrive with hands-on learning in class. This year they are taking on a new STEM club project where they are working with speakers and the science of sound. Though we have chromebooks the students could use, but the program we are using only works on IPADS. This is something that we are starting this year, but will be offered to all 6th grade students for years to come.
