Students will see how food can be grown quickly and efficiently in hydroponics systems. This will help them visualize their own solutions to the food shortage crisis that many nations face. They can apply this learning in all subject areas, as they work with data, learn the science of the system, learn about the international issue and read and write all throughout the process. Real-World problem solving is a highly effective, engaging way to impact student achievement. This hydroponics kit will help me create these problem-solving opportunities for my students for years to come. It will bring problem-solving​ to life before their eyes.
