Every year, I buy the foam carpet tiles for my students to sit on. While they look nice at first, they don't last very long. The students like to play with them and take them apart or they get extremely dirty from wear and tear. We are in need of a comfortable place to learn basic reading and math skills. We are constantly going back and forth from our desk to the carpet area. We do a lot of mini lessons and class interaction with our easel at the carpet. It would be nice for the students to have their own space and feel comfortable while learning language arts and math. The kids love story time and what better way to have them on a warm place to enjoy it.
