As my students are working hard to continue to develop their reading skills, these items will give my students the ability to work INDEPENDENTLY, like their same aged peers. When completing assignments (at school and home) that include abundant text, they will give students the ABILITY to play and replay the recorded instructions and passages without the need for significant support. Some have parents who work multiple jobs, so they are not always available to assist. Others are the eldest child in their family, and do not have an older sibling to provide support. Most are from lower income families. Despite this, they come each day with a willingness to learn.
