We are a small band of less than 20 members, in a school with graduating classes of less than 40. However, through our determination, dedication, and family atmosphere, we are growing not only in numbers, but skill and maturity as well. We tackle any task given to us with the mindset that we will give our best effort as a group; we are much stronger together than each individual piece. These students, after three years with them, continue to surprise me. Whether it's an impromptu rehearsal called on a day off with only a week's notice, or overcoming the adversity of missing a week of rehearsal due to uncontrollable circumstances, they make sure they put in the effort to succeed together. They care about each other and make sure band is a fun and exciting experience. For me, that's what band is all about.

About my class
