I teach 8th grade English Language Arts at a middle school just north of Pittsburgh, PA. I have approximately 90 students this year, and we recently switched to a flexible seating arrangement in our classroom; the kids have taken to it like pros! A big part of our classroom culture involves choice independent reading and discussions about those books, so having a variety of books available to students is key to their success.
