As soon as we start the school year, my class will explore the life cycles of frogs, butterflies, and other small animals. Science should not be learned anymore just by reading books. I want to open up each life cycle lesson in an engaging and special way. The frog and butterfly model sets will help students observe specific stages of growth for each animal before they read and write about them. This observation piece is crucial to the students' engagement in the lesson since they can manipulate the model specimens. In addition, the frog and butterfly models will help students make their own 3-D clay models to conclude the units.

About my class
