The quality of the racquet doesn't define a tennis player, but it does help them improve. A good quality racquet is so essential for my students as they learn the basics of tennis. Most of my beginning athletes have never played tennis before joining tennis class. Students do not know the difference between a good quality racquet and a cheaply made one, so I want my students to begin hitting with a good quality racquet before they invest in their own. If they cannot invest in their own, then they will have a quality racquet to use while they at Elsik High School. These racquets are designed with a larger frame to give beginner students more room to hit the ball properly. I believe that these racquets will not only improve their game, but their confidence as they start to return the ball more consistently. Tennis is a sport that people of ages and backgrounds can play throughout his or her life. I want to instill a passion for exercise through tennis in my students so they may stay healthy until old age.
