I am requesting 5 Chromebooks for my 3rd grade classroom. The purpose of this project is to implement technology into my classroom on a daily basis. The Chromebooks will be used to differentiate educational material for all of my students. Students learn through different modalities. Students with disabilites, English as a second language learners and students who don't have technology at home can now all be on a level playing field in the classroom and have access to the many sites that students can use to research, improve fluency (in reading and in math), go deeper with concepts being taught, and have fun with learning. In addition, students love to be creative! The interactive tools available on a Chromebook, as simple as Google Slides, will inspire my students learning and motivation for reaching their educational goals.
