Every lesson should have multiple entry points for all learners. Having tablets available for my students will help make our classroom an active learning space where students are able to express themselves through their individual learning style. Many students come into the classroom with the preconceived notion that they are not mathematicians. Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. I incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met right where they are! The tablets will enable each student to access math and STEAM assignments at their individual starting point. The tablets will allow students to practice math skills, assist in math word problems, and enable students to complete individual math projects.
