Morning announcements area great way to gain student interest in academics and extracurricular activities. It will also prepare them to be ahead of their competition once they leave school. Morning announcements are an easy way to spread school news and organizational information for the day. Those that create, prepare, and present the morning news are given the opportunity to learn journalistic principles, video production, and public speaking. LMS needs new equipment that will work daily to continue to inform the student body. Recently LMS has had to use the intercom system because of audio/video issues. Those issues have resulted in announcements that often go unheard because of the mediocre presentation.
