We need lap trays, dorm chairs, wobble chairs, and bean bag seats for flexible seating options so that they are comfortable when reading and writing. Students will use the sofa sack giant bean bag chairs for partner reading during Reader's workshop. They will be using the handy and stackable lap tray's to place all of their materials they need for Writer's workshop. The wobble chairs and big joe dorm chairs will be used for independent work during Reader's and Writer's workshop. Flexible seating will be used in our classroom to boost students performance and build stamina. With comfy and cozy seats students are able to choose not only where they want to sit in the classroom but what they want to sit on. Students will have open space to sit where they want in the classroom, choosing a comfortable spot that works best for them. This project will help my students stay engaged in their learning during Reading and Writing. Students want to feel comfortable when learning so flexible seating would work perfect for them.
