This summer I have begun working on creating a flexible seating environment for my classroom. I have made a couple new tables for my classroom but would like some seating options that are untraditional. Many students have a hard time sitting still for long periods of time or are uncomfortable in traditional chairs. These flexible seating options will provide my students with the opportunity to get the wiggles out if needed as well as being able to move freely among the room. These seats are also easy to move which encourages collaboration. I know this new arrangement will benefit my students in many ways and I can’t wait to get started!
