My project is important because it will give us the flexibility to work as a whole group or work in centers. These materials and instruments will allow my students the hands on learning environment needed to engage students in music class. The boomwhakers will provide a center that will allow students to explore and make music independently or with a group. The scarves, rhythm sticks, bongos and shakers will be used to teach students how to play and move to different rhythms. This project will give my students a creative outlet, to forget about their daily stresses, and to make a joyful noise!
