Having tablets in the classroom that belong to us and only us will provide my co-teacher and I the opportunity to plan for different center activities in all subjects, where our scholars will be excited and engaged because they get to use technology. We chose the Amazon Kid Friendly tablets because they come with durable, kid-friendly cases and each of our scholars with a variety of needs and learning abilities will all be able to use them. Some of our scholars are not yet writing with pencils but are able to write and participate in ELA activities using technology instead. Our students do not have the opportunity to explore all of the different educational applications that I know would provide new and exciting ways for them to and explore content.
