My students are busy third graders. Most of them have grown up using all sorts of technology. Lessons incorporating video, photos, and their very own voices are much more likely to engage them and help them learn. Not only will my class benefit, but the entire student body can become involved in creating lessons that are interactive and meaningful. Imagine the cross grade level interactions that can take place! My students live in a middle-class neighborhood. Many of them have two working parents. They are always anxious to be doing, rather than just observing.
