Putting books into the hands of students is critical to their love of and success in reading. The best way to learn to read is to have access to as many books as possible that are of high interest! This project will allow us to have many more books to choose from in our classroom library during our book shopping time in reading workshop. Multiple titles and multiple copies allow children to choose books they are excited to read and share with their classmates. Student can read by themselves, read together, or read to each other simply because they will foster a love of reading with the more books that they can enjoy! We also use many books for classroom read alouds, studying mentor authors and their craft moves.
