Our classroom is in desperate need of technology to access online materials for my kindergartners to practice beginning reading skills. These Kindles will allow my students the opportunity to access online books, phonics practice games, and listen to fluent readers practice the craft of reading! My goal is to have a center during my rotation time where students can get online to access things that will help them become better readers. Not only will I be able to download audible books, but these type of kindle will give them access to online material that I do not currently have available. I'm sure they can even teach this veteran teacher a few things also!
